Yesterday, Phase 2 of the Think Galapagos project was launched entitled Think Birding Ecuador. This website is packed with holiday and tour information specifically tailored to bird watchers.

Bird watching South America doesn’t come much better than Ecuador, home to some of the best and easiest birding in the world. Less than twice the size of England, it has over 15% of the world’s bird species with over 1600 species recorded to date. Aside from sheer numbers, the wealth of endemics and exotics, what sets bird watching in Ecuador apart is just how easy it is!
